Your Day Morocco Desert Tourbegins in Ouarzazate. First, travel through the beautiful landscapes of southern Morocco toward Skoura Oasis, known for its palm groves, kasbahs, and traditional Berber villages, Skoura is one of the region’s most picturesque oasis areas. You may also visit Kasbah Amredhil, one of the best-preserved kasbahs in Morocco and an excellent example of traditional southern Moroccan architecture. After that, continue along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs before reaching the Valley of Roses, renowned for rose cultivation, rose products, and its annual Rose Festival. In the afternoon, arrive in Dades Valley.

After breakfast, we continue our journey towards the Todgha Gorge, one of the most magnificent natural landmarks in Morocco. The towering walls of the valley rise hundreds of meters above the river, creating a wonderful scene for hiking and taking wonderful souvenir photos. After exploring the gorge, continue through oasis towns and desert landscapes before arriving in Erfoud, a town famous for fossils, marble workshops, and date production. Late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, meet your camel guide and enjoy an unforgettable camel trekking experience across the golden dunes. Watch the Sahara sunset from the top of a dune before arriving at your desert Camp. Dinner is served under the stars, followed by traditional Berber music around the campfire.

Overnight: Desert Camp in Merzouga
Wake up early to see a spectacular sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, return by 4x4 and begin the journey toward Fes. Travel through the beautiful Ziz Valley, one of Morocco’s largest oasis regions. The valley is famous for its palm groves, ancient villages, and breathtaking viewpoints. Continue through Midelt before entering the cedar forests of Azrou, home to the famous Barbary macaques. Next, visit Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco because of its European-style architecture, clean streets, and mountain atmosphere. Arrive in Fes in the late afternoon.
