After breakfast, depart from Zagora and travel through the beautiful Draa Valley, one of Morocco's largest oasis regions, famous for its palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and traditional Berber villages. Your first stop is Tamgroute, renowned for its historic Quranic library and traditional green pottery workshops that have been producing ceramics for centuries. Continue south toward M’Hamid El Ghizlane, the last village before the vast Sahara Desert and the end of the paved road.
From M’Hamid, your off-road adventure begins. Travel across remote desert tracks, rocky plains, dried riverbeds, and stunning Sahara landscapes before reaching the magnificent Erg Chegaga dunes.
In the late afternoon, enjoy a camel trekking experience through the golden dunes and admire the tranquility of the Moroccan Sahara. Climb a dune to watch sunset over Erg Chegaga before arriving at your desert camp.

Wake up early to see a spectacular Sahara sunrise, then after breakfast, continue by 4x4 across remote desert landscapes toward Erg Chegaga. Along the route, visit a local nomadic family living near a desert well. Share traditional tea and learn about their unique lifestyle and centuries-old traditions. Continue through rocky plains, desert tracks, and untouched Sahara scenery before arriving at Erg Chegaga, home to Morocco's largest and most remote dunes. Spend the afternoon exploring the dunes. Enjoy sandboarding, walking through the golden sands, or simply relaxing while admiring the breathtaking views. Later, climb a dune and watch an unforgettable sunset over the Sahara.
