day1: Agadir – Taroudant – Taliouine – Agdez
We pick you up from your accommodation in the morning to start our Agadir Desert Tours , to Taroudant, known as “the little Marrakesh”; it is astounding for its monstrous defenses and delightful medina. We keep on Taliouine, the heart of the saffron growing area of Morocco and on to Kourkouda and then Taznakht; this small town is famous for its Berber carpets. From here the road proceeds to Agdez by means of Bouazzer to spend the primary night in Kasbah Tamnougalte, the most established Kasbah in the Dra’a Valley.
day2: Agdez – Merzouga
After breakfast there will be a visit to the Kasbah itself before proceeding with south and after that east at Tansikht towards Merzouga. We stop for lunch at Al-Nif, overlooking the mountains. Later we go through Tazzarine, highlighted in the film “Babel” and achieve the bivouac in Merzouga, where you will be welcomed with a glass of tea. After you have settled a bit, you take a camel ride to watch the sun go down over the dunes, followed by dinner and the night a nomad tent.
day3: Merzouga – Tinghir/Toudgha – Dades Gorges
If you wake up early enough, you can watch the spectacle of the sunrise, when the color of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight. After breakfast & shower in hotel, leaving for Tinghir and the Toudghagorges for lunch, the road goes through Tinjdad and the Toudgha Valley. Here there are a lot of chances to walk, for example, along the stream through the greenery enclosures or up the street on the opposite side of the chasms. Later the schedule proceeds to the Dades Valley and the Dades Gorges for the night in a lodging.
Day4: Dades Gorges – Marrakesh
After having breakfast, we have planned to go for a stroll in the Dades Gorges. Next, we will head towards the Valley of the Roses, renowned for its Rose Festival in May, and pass by the kasbahs of Skoura. Our journey will then lead us to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has served as the backdrop for numerous Hollywood blockbusters. This kasbah is the most well-known in Morocco, and from here we will proceed to the highest pass in Africa, Tizi-n-Tichka. By late afternoon, we will reach Marrakesh.
