After having breakfast, we will embark on a journey to Merzouga through the magnificent Todra Gorge. This stunning canyon boasts towering rocks that reach a height of 300 meters. Our route will then lead us to Merzouga, passing through the renowned town of Erfoud. Erfoud is famous for its international dates festival and its status as a fossils town. Upon reaching Merzouga, you will have the opportunity to meet your camel caravan and embark on a tour through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Witness the breathtaking sunset before arriving at your bivouac camp. Here, you will savor an authentic Moroccan dinner under the enchanting starlit sky. The local nomads will provide entertainment and teach you how to play the Tam Tam drums.
Today you can wake up early if you would like to watch the sunrise. After breakfast, we will follow the Ziz river with it’s incredible palm-lined oasis and its ksours, fortified castles up to Midelt, a small town in the middle of the Atlas Mountains. After lunch we will cross the Middle Atlas Mountains to Fez. We will notice the dramatic change of landscape: snow-capped mountains, cedar forests, also in this way we will have stop in little switzerland Morocco (Ifrane).
