Day 1: Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Agdz – Zagora Desert

Depart early in the morning from Marrakech and travel over the majestic Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy panoramic views and stop at traditional Berber villages along the way. Your first major stop is the ancient fortified village of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its earthen clay architecture and its role in many Hollywood films.
After lunch near Aït Ben Haddou, continue through Ouarzazate and along the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river oasis lined with palm trees and ancient kasbahs. By late afternoon, you’ll reach the desert town of Zagora, where your camel caravan awaits.

Day 2: Zagora – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Continue through Ouarzazate, where you may visit the Taourirt Kasbah or Atlas Film Studios if time allows. Finally, head back through the High Atlas Mountains and arrive in Marrakech in the early evening, ending your whirlwind desert adventure.
